Quality Policy

Introduction

KAM Computing & Consulting Engineers has developed and implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) in order to document the company’s best business practices, better satisfy the requirements and expectations of its clients and to improve the overall management of the company.

The QMS meets the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2008. This system addresses the design, installation, refurbishment, repairs and maintenance of the electrical infrastructure and equipment.

This manual describes the QMS, delineates authorities, inter relationships and responsibilities of personnel responsible for performing within the system. The manual also provides procedures or references for all activities comprising the QMS to ensure compliance to the necessary requirements of the standard.

This manual is also used externally to introduce our QMS to our clients and other external organizations or individuals. The manual is used to familiarise them with the controls that have been implemented and to assure them that the integrity of our QMS is maintained and focused on client satisfaction and continuous improvement.

ISO 9001:2008

Regarding compliance to the latest revision of the Standard (IS09001:2008), all identified changes have been reviewed for content and impact. Specific revisions in KAM Computing & Consulting Engineers internal policies and procedures have been completed to reflect those changes – where necessary and/or appropriate. Where changes in the standard have been deemed to have had no measurable impact on system operations - and any previously issued documents - and no changes to those documents were effected, those documents remain at their previous revision levels and issue dates.

Policy Statement of Intent

KAM Computing & Consulting Engineers is committed at all levels to meeting all customer requirements and increasing customer satisfaction through the continual measurement, review and improvement of our products, services, and the effectiveness of the quality management system.

To meet these commitments, we strive to:

  • Implement a Quality Management System that is;
  • Aligned to ISO 9001:2008 standards & customer specifications;
  • Beneficial to our customers.
  • Implement and incorporate ISO 9001:2008 standards into all business processes aligned to our quality objectives;
  • Compile and implement a quality manual document to address management control procedures and processes that is in alignment to customer specifications in order to achieve our customer expectations;
  • Appoint a Quality Control Controller to manage all quality processes of the business and ensure compliance to the quality manual;
  • Ensure that this policy is effectively communicated of through the organization and discussions concerning the quality objectives shall be conducted at a frequency supportive of our management commitment to workforce engagement and continual improvement;
  • Conduct periodic management reviews of our quality objectives;
  • Ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate resources needed to achieve our policy objectives;
  • Update and review this policy on an annual basis.
